Juliet Ibrahim appealed to women to quit their ‘unwholesome marriages’ as she unfolded on her divorce during her book launch in Ghana.
The Ghanaian actress rebuked the general public on not judging people that want to end their marriages as she told Citi News that hers left her in a dark place where she was miserable.
”People have had their own perception regarding what led to my divorce.I have sat down for several years and have had to modify the pain and insults from the general public who had no clue what I went through as a person during that period and how it affected me.
“The depression and all that happened. All i’ll say is you must never judge somebody who needs to come out of a wedding. as a result of sometimes it’s better to come out of it than to remain in it. For your own saneness and mental stability it us invariably sensible to take a bold decision for yourself. For your children, if there are children involved take a daring call,” she said.
Juliet Ibrahim had already unconcealed that her marriage life was a slip that shouldn’t have happened while remarking that her ex-husband’s family was never in support of it. She reportedly married Kwadwo Safo in 2010, when she got pregnant for him within the course of their friendly relationship. They were however granted divorce in June 2014, when he allegedly cheated on her.
